Support and assistance is available if you've been affected by the November 2020 floods in Napier.

There are lots of ways we can help, and we can point you in the right direction based on your situation. You don't have to be on a benefit.

How we can help

You can also call us on 0800 559 009. We're open Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm, and on Saturdays between 8am and 1pm. Call us if you:

  • would like assistance
  • are struggling to support yourself, or your family
  • would like more information about how we can help.

You don't need to be on a benefit, and you can contact us even if you're not sure if you can get assistance.

Stress counselling and support

Emergencies like floods are usually unexpected, sudden and can be overwhelming. It's natural to feel emotionally and physically drained.

You’re not alone in this and you don’t need to cope on your own. Friends and family members not affected by the event can help you cope.
