Find jobs in MyMSD
You can use MyMSD to look at jobs available. You can also search for jobs in your area or your preferred type of work.
Follow the 5 steps on this page to find and apply for jobs in MyMSD.
Step 1 - Log in to MyMSD
You need a MyMSD login to see the latest jobs.
If you’ve never registered with MyMSD before, you can find out how to do this on our MyMSD page.
Step 2 - Find latest jobs
Once you’re logged in, go to the ‘Latest Jobs’ section by scrolling down. You’ll see the top 3 jobs.
To see more jobs, select ‘View more jobs’. This will show another 10 jobs. You can see even more jobs by selecting ‘View more jobs’ again.
Step 3 - Check out jobs available
To see details of the job, click on the job title.
You can see the job's:
- title and description
- ID number
- location, pay and hours.
Step 4 - Update your job seeker profile
To change the job listings, you need to update your preferences in your job seeker profile.
You can find your job seeker profile by selecting either:
- 'Change preferences in your job seeker profile' at the top of the job listings
- 'Update the preferred locations in your job seeker profile' at the end of the job listings, or
- the home icon in the top left corner and then:
- selecting 'My profile' in the left-hand menu
- scrolling to the 'job seeker profile' section, and
- selecting 'Update profile'.
You will need to answer some questions to update your profile. This will be about things like:
- any licences or qualifications you have
- the type of job you're interested in
- what hours you're looking for, and
- what location you're looking for work in.
Once you've updated these preferences, select 'OK'.
You'll then be able to view jobs based the type of job you're interested in and the location you're looking for work in.
Step 5 - Apply for jobs
When you find a job you like, take a note of the Job ID number (in the job details). Call our Job Search line on 0800 779 009. We're open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.
You'll need to tell us the job ID number and your client number.
We will:
- tell you more about the job
- check the job is still available
- refer you to one of our Work Brokers to talk about the job.
If the job's suitable, we'll help you with your job application by:
- helping you with your CV
- helping you to fill out the job application, and
- setting up a meeting between you and the employer.
