Public transport fares

You can get a 50% discount on single-trip adult fares on public transport if you have a Community Services Card. This discount is part of the Community Connect programme.

Get a driver licence

We have providers across New Zealand who can help you get your driver licence. They can help you with things like:

  • studying for the learner licence test
  • professional driving lessons for the restricted or full licence test
  • paying the test fees
  • using one of their vehicles to take the test in.

We may be able to help pay for some car repairs if your income and assets are under a certain limit.
