Change your bank account

If you want to change the bank account your benefits or payments are paid into don't close your old bank account until you've received a payment into your new account.


It takes 5 working days for your account details to be changed. If you've already closed your old bank account you need to contact us.

How to tell us

If you’re only changing the last 2 numbers of your account (the suffix) you can call us and we'll do this over the phone.

If you have a new bank account number, you’ll need fill out the ‘Change of bank account’ form below or call us.

You’ll need to show us evidence of your new account, eg. a bank statement, a screenshot of your online banking (showing your name, account number and the bank's logo), or a deposit slip.

You can drop your form and evidence into us or post it to your nearest service centre.
