When you get a benefit, we may ask you to complete a work profile so we can help you find a job.
When you need a profile
You may need to fill out a profile when you've told us that you're available and looking for work. If you have a partner, they may also need to complete one.
We'll let you know if you need to fill out a profile.
How to complete a profile
Follow the steps on this page to complete a Jobseeker profile.

Follow these steps to complete a profile
You can fill out a profile in MyMSD under Current applications. If you've done one before, we'll pre-fill some of your details.
You'll need to answer questions about your:
- work experience (including work history)
- skills and qualifications, including:
- education qualifications
- languages you speak
- driver license details.
We'll also ask you:
- where you want to work
- what type of work you're looking for
- when you can work (eg, part-time, full-time, weekends).
